Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this class is designed to help you unleash your inner rhythm while connecting with the musical traditions of Africa & the Caribbean! From the pulsating drums of Afrobeat to the carefree sway of reggae, you'll learn the history and moves that define these soulful styles. Empress Avenue: Rhythm & Whine is all about feeling the music, connecting with our bodies & celebrating the rich culture of Africa & the Caribbean.

Cancellation Policy

There will be no cash refunds available after purchase. If you cancel more than 12 hours prior to the start of Klass, you are able to keep your purchased Klass session and use it towards another session. Your session will automatically go back into your account. If you cancel within the 12 hour window or no-show, your Klass session will be forfeited and you will be charged an $5 late cancel/no-show fee. If the business cancels or closes due to unforeseen circumstances, you will not be charged a fee/lose your session and your session will go back into your account to use at a later date.
